The Phonics Gamer

Piggy Panic

This is an interactive phonics game to help children learn blending for reading. The object of the game is to help Paisley Pig build her house to escape the wolf, by reading and answering yes/no questions.

Great for classroom use on an interactive whiteboard in phonics lessons or for home learning on PC or tablet.

Every time you answer correctly Paisley will get to build another part of her house. But watch out! If you answer incorrectly, the wolf will get one step closer.

Piggy Panic comes with an optional narrated story that you can use when introducing the game to children, providing context and purpose to the game. Listen to the story or skip the story and go straight to the game.

You can even use the comic strip to challenge more able readers to read the story themselves or to their class.

Use the menu to select which phase you would like to include in your game. Read each question and answer yes or no.

Will you be able to help Paisley Pig build her house to escape the wolf?
